  7. InfoSys unveils its newest medical product, HomeSys.  This new product is a
  8. comprehensive and dependable system that links all the elements of health care
  9. delivery, significantly reduces costs, halves the amount of time providers
  10. spend on administration, and improves the quality of patient care - without
  11. the paper shuffle of traditional home health practice management systems.
  12. HomeSys offers the flexibility to adapt to any health care reforms, while
  13. maintaining the power to take advantage of new technologies like imaging and
  14. handheld portable devices for nurses.
  15. HomeSys is written in C.  The HomeSys Scheduling Module will make those large
  16. appointment books and inferior scheduling programs obsolete.  The system also
  17. has the ability to maximize the number of hours scheduled against the number
  18. of hours required, thus reducing lost revenue.  Additionally, the system can
  19. generate a scheduling list and open schedule reports by location,
  20. provider/nurse and date.  Finally, in the interest of providing the best care,
  21. the system will recommend a provider/nurse that can fill the most, if not all,
  22. of the requirements of the patient.
  23. The billing module has a treatment plan that will have the ability to review
  24. the services to be provided to the patient.  The system will calculate the
  25. cost for the services required and compare it against the maximum coverage
  26. limit for a particular insurance carrier.
